Dear friends and colleagues.First of all, thanks from the local organizers for submitting so many proposals to the forthcoming Sunbelt (696 altogether). We also received many proposal for workshops but we could accommodate only 24. Even so, the need to identify enough rooms of a proper size for all types of activities has required some careful planning on our part, and it also implies some change from the usual Sunbelt schedule. The Website now contains the draft version of the 2010 Program - 'Program-at-a-Glance' (http://www.insna.org/PDF/Sunbelt/4_ProgramPDF.pdf). Let us draw your attention to the following:a) The program will start as usual on Wednesday afternoon, but the first two half days will be devoted to poster sessions. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE AWARE OF POSTER PRESENTERS WHO ARE ALSO INVOLVED IN WORKSHOPS AND WE'LL MAKE SURE THERE IS NO CONFLICT BETWEEN THEIR MULTIPLE COMMITMENTS. NO NEED TO REMIND US OF THIS AT THE PRESENT STAGE.b) The 20 minute lecture sessions will start on the afternoon of Thursday, July 1, after the conclusion of the workshops (this year they will stretch over two days);c) On Friday and Saturday we'll also run lecture sessions in late afternoon, i.e., from 5:30-7:00 PM;d) The high number of submissions also means we'll have to use the Sunday morning slot to the fullest. At least 90 presentations will have to be scheduled there. So please, unless you really have to, try to plan your stay in Riva del Garda until the very end of the meeting. All these adaptations are essential to accommodate as many papers as possible in the conference program. In that regard, we are evaluating the proposals right now. We shall let you know about acceptance of your own proposal by March 1, 2010 at the latest. The provisional program will require one more month, I guess, and should be out by mid-April. More on this will follow.Best for now.~INSNA
