Call For Papers
IEEE/ACM CHASE is a leading international conference in the field of smart and connected health. It aims to bring together researchers in the smart and connected health area around the world to exchange innovative ideas and promote collaborations. Connected health can be defined as the use of the internet, sensing, communications, and intelligent analytics in support of health-related applications, health systems, and engineering technologies. Connected health is at the convergence of multiple domains and technologies and helps to shape foundational improvements to healthcare delivery. In the future, improvements in connected health will be realized by providing rich medical information to each individual and by replacing infrequent, clinic-based measurements with unobtrusive, continuous sensing, monitoring, and assessment. Connected health technologies will enable preventive health and personalized medicine and may significantly reduce healthcare costs. Building upon the success of its past seven years, CHASE 2023 will be part of the ACM Federated Computing Research Conference (FCRC) in Orlando, Florida, and be co-held with other 9 top conferences including ISCA, SIGMETRICS, PLDI, STOC, and HPDC.
Prospective authors are cordially invited to submit their original contributions covering completed or ongoing work related to the digital, smart, and connected health area. We also welcome submissions related to COVID-19 and its mitigation. IEEE/ACM CHASE positions itself as a venue for science and engineering researchers to publish their research and discovery, including those that have the potential to enable innovations but are not yet ready for clinical studies.
Note: IEEE/ACM CHASE 2023 will accept regular, short, workshop, demo, and poster papers. Regular and short papers will have an option to be published in either ACM Proceedings or . The Best Paper Award will be selected among the accepted full papers. Topics of interest and submission details are provided on the IEEE/ACM CHASE 2023 website. Student Travel Awards will be provided to selected students from US-based institutions.

By submitting your article to an ACM Publication, you are hereby acknowledging that you and your co-authors are subject to all ACM Publications Policies, including ACM's new Publications Policy on Research Involving Human Participants and Subjects. Alleged violations of this policy or any ACM Publications Policy will be investigated by ACM and may result in a full retraction of your paper, in addition to other potential penalties, as per ACM Publications Policy.
Please ensure that you and your co-authors obtain an ORCID ID, so you can complete the publishing process for your accepted paper. ACM has been involved in ORCID from the start and we have recently made a commitment to collect ORCID IDs from all of our published authors. The collection process has started and will roll out as a requirement throughout 2022. We are committed to improve author discoverability, ensure proper attribution and contribute to ongoing community efforts around name normalization; your ORCID ID will help in these efforts.
