Full Member-1 Year
Any person having a demonstrable professional or scholarly interest in the study of social networks shall be eligible to be a Member of the Association. A Member in good standing is eligible to:
(a) have one vote in nominating and electing Association officers, and in the transaction of business at the annual meeting of the Association, and in referenda conducted by the Association;
(b) hold elected or appointed office, subject to any limitations imposed by the By‐Laws;
(c) participate in annual meetings and receive the Association newsletter and other communications of the Board of Directors to the Members.
Full members may choose between a one-, two-, and three-year membership.
One-year Membership Dues: $200
Membership fees are non-refundable. Dues are not pro-rated and membership expires annually on December 31.
Tiered membership fees are based on the World Bank classification of economies and based on country of residence, not country of origin.
- Those residing in upper income countries will pay 100% of the membership fee
- Those residing in upper-middle income countries will pay 60% of the membership fee ($120)
- Those residing in lower-middle income countries will pay 40% of membership fee ($80)
- Those residing in low income countries will pay 20% of membership fees ($40)

Student
Any student attending an accredited college or university or its equivalent who is interested in Social Networks and applications shall be eligible for Student Membership for a period not to exceed six years. A Student Member has the same rights as a member except they are not eligible to hold an elected office.
