Society is undergoing a digital transformation. The resulting data has captured the interests of researchers and scientists globally. While the first generation of "big data" and analytics has provided some insight into human social processes, the interest is now moving toward AI and machine learning. Recent NSF announcements on AI research centers indicate that the focus on AI is just starting and will accelerate across all sectors of society.
A group of us are interested in the effect that this will have on education, learning, and knowledge work. We've organized a free online conference to explore this impact:
